Anything Is Possible*.

*Only if you believe that it is.

And no, if you’re thinking that this is going to be one of your everyday motivational blogs where people say “Anything is possible. Work hard to achieve your goals,” pray stop! It is nothing like a motivational blog.

Most of our daily decisions are based on the possibility or probability of a situation, meticulously calculated and weighed against other options (if any). Remember those childhood days when you believed in Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and Easter Bunny? Remember when your Mom read you Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty or any other fairytale? Remember the spark you had in your eyes when you heard of them? Some of the girls may have dreamt of living in castles like the princesses in the stories, some of us may have dreamt of the peaceful countryside described in these tales, while some of us wanted to live there solely because of the magical elements like fairies, pixies and magic itself.

What happened? We grew up. We all grew up. Science took over our lives and our imagination came to a stop. We no longer have the time to think about magic and thus we limit our own imagination. But what if we really believe in something? Small, silly things. For instance, I believe in making a wish at 11:11 AM/PM. Don’t ask me why, for I’ll be at a loss for words so as to why I so firmly believe in this practice. It is very evident that once we stop believing in something, we start losing the spark in our eyes. The depths of our imagination eventually become shallow. We start thinking rationally and eliminate the possibility of any miracle at all.

Now, you might think that this is stupid, coming from a possibly shady person you haven’t seen, who’s probably sitting behind some computer screen and typing out this paragraph (HAHA, just kidding! I’m as real as can be). I’m not asking you to be superstitious. I’m not even saying that magic is real (for all I know, it could be).Β All I’m saying is that anything is possible.Β Anything can happen in the blink of an eye. Anything at all.Β It is just the way in which we perceive it. Therefore, we must develop a more imaginative approach to the situations in our lives (totally within the context, though) because the more we imagine, the more we believe, the more we allow ourselves to develop a positive approach to life.

People often ask me how I’m so bubbly and positive all the time. I just wink at them and say, “Magic, you know? You are the writer of your own fairytale. And you are the protagonist, too. How do you expect your own life to go uphill when you don’t believe that it can? Just send out happy thoughts, it helps”.

Cheerio! Xx

  1. Amazing shubhi.. !! Nice write up.. πŸ‘πŸ‘Œ.. it’s true that we as people have clearly lost our imagination not just bcuz of science but in General because of things like social pressures , or the clichΓ©d thought running at the back of our minds – ” log kya kaheenge.. if I think out of the box and come up with new ideas.. ” . We are not letting our creativity to grow as we are consumed by our inner fears and hesitations . Wonderful start to ur blog world.. πŸ˜€πŸ˜¬ All the best..
